Accessory Review: Case Mate POP! Case for the Samsung Galaxy S II
This is a very good and protective case for the money! It has both a hard plastic shell as well as a rubber inside that are molded together. The unit I am using is white with grey accents which looks very attractive and doesn’t add too much extra bulk. One surprise feature of the case is it includes a kickstand attached to the back that is very awesome for watching movies and not having to hold the phone! This is a great durable case that will help keep your new Samsung Galaxy S II very protected!

Samsung Galaxy S II Review!
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S II for a week now and let me just say WOW!!! This is hands down the BEST phone I have ever used period.
The Good:
Where to begin…The phone itself is very powerful. The 1.2 Ghz Dual Core Processor and 1GB of RAM make this phone blaze through every day tasks with eaze. One thing I liked about it is switching from WIFI to Mobile Data, it took no more than 3 seconds, which is very fast compared to other phones I have used. You’ll be able to accomplish things faster on this phone! The build quality of the phone is very good. It has a nice textured back to it that makes it easy to grip. (which is a good thing because this phone is super light and thin and very prone to drops…so make sure to get a good protective case for it) The screen is the real game changer for me. The Super AMOLED Plus screen is just simply beautiful. Colors pop and show up very bright and vivid. The screen also performs very well outside under direct sunlight. The camera is an 8MP shooter that also records in 1080P video. The phone also includes photo editing software. I only used the camera to snap a few photos but I was very pleased with the quality of the images it produced! The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage which is plenty of space to get you going and of course it does support up to a 32GB SD card as well. Call quality is very excellent as well. Phone calls I have made have been crisp and clear on my end and people I am talking to also comment on how well I sound. This phone falls into the higher level of HSPA+ Data speeds. In theory we can get up to 21Mbps on this phone, the highest I have gotten is 5.78Mbps which is actually very fast and almost a full Mbps higher than the Motorola Atrix which falls under the 14.4 Mbps HSPA+ category. I can tell a difference with this phone in terms of network speed and reliability!
The Bad:
There isn’t too many things to consider bad with this phone. One major thing missing atleast for me is a notification LED light. Not really sure why Samsung decided to leave one out but it’s not a deal breaker for me. The other thing that bothers me a little bit is the placement of the power button. It’s located about 1/4 of the way down the phone on the right hand side and just so happens to be where my finger is when i’m holding the phone so I have accidentally pressed it a number of times. Again this is really minor in the grand scheme of things and something I just had to get used to!
Conclusion:

LG Thrill 4G Review!
I was able to use this phone for a few days so I would be able to give it a review and here is what I came up with!
Pros: The 3D features are the main selling points of this phone and let me say they did not dissapoint! I was skeptical about how 3D would work on a cell phone, but was left absolutely amazed! The 3D video and photos come out amazing and look incredible on the screen. 3D games were a joy to play and added an interessting element not found on other handsets. One cool feature is that any 2D picture can be converted to 3D using the included photo editing software. The phone is also very fast and responsive, I never ran into and slowdowns or lag using this phone. Audio quality is crisp and clear and voice calls worked well without any dropped calls. The phone comes preloaded with a selection of 3D games, videos, and photos, but more can be purchased through the included 3D market. The phone has a dedicated 3D button that quickly takes you to all the phones 3D content. 4G network speed is a major improvement over 3G if you are in an area that supports 4G data, so you should notice a HUGE speed increase for doing things network related! I loved the short amount of time I spent with this phone and would have no problem using it as my every day phone!
Cons: My only major complaint with the phone is LG’s custom version of the Android software. Fortunately this can be replaced by any of the popular 3rd party Android launchers available in the market. (I use Launcher Pro Plus on all my android phones) Other then that I had no real complaints and would love to use this as my everyday phone!
